In this episode of My Genius Career, we talk to the energetic Gari Gervacio, Operations Manager within the Tracking Operations team at Second Spectrum, based in our LA office. 

In this conversation we learn more about Gari's background and how he discovered his 'dream job' combining sport, technology and stats after realising a career in law wasn't lighting his fire! Having come across Second Spectrum while studying Sports Management at Long Beach State and doing some coaching support for the LA Lakers, he joined the team in 2017, originally as an operator. Now working as a Manager in the Tracking Operations team, Gari talks about how his role has developed and evolved, his interest in all things people and HR as well as how he's excited about what the future holds for him professionally now that Second Spectrum is part of Genius Sports.
