Jason Hampton-Taylor is the Sales Manager for LYRO Robotics. LYRO is a Brisbane-based tech startup and award-winning pioneer in the world of robotic vision, specialising in the field of AI-powered pick-and-pack solutions. Jason has been involved with technical business development for over 30 years. He worked in London for 12 years facilitating colour management for proofing systems in the advertising industry then returned to Australia in 2002 to start a giclee printing Art Gallery in Byron Bay. Jason has worked with Autodesk and SolidWorks dealerships and helped launch both the Ultimaker and Markforged 3D printer brands to the Australian market. In 2019 Jason travelled to Las Vegas to help the start-up Haddington Dynamics launch their 3D-printed cobot arm by initiating a strategy of distributed manufacturing via microfactories. The first microfactory was set up in Toowoomba by DCISIV Technologies and four more were subsequently set up across the US and Mexico. Haddington Dynamics was acquired for US$25 million in late 2020 by Ocado Technology. More recently Jason has been working with DCISIV to market their cobot welding solutions in Australia before joining LYRO Robotics.
