The Emotional Attack
The author provides a brief but familiar description of a heart attack in progress. The brunt of the story, however, is the emotional fragility that ensued. Every different feel, every strange occurrence within his body brought on fear & frequently a race back to the hospital. Fear of sleep - will I wake up again?- and the lack of it brought on more ill feeling. This is a perfect book for all - especially family members of heart attack survivors who can't understand the continuing panic & that that takes the most time to recover from.
A short, informative book
This is a well-written cautionary tale. A very personal account of an all-too common occurrence, "My Heart Attack" made me wish the author could have taken a little more time with both the physical and emotional details. Because of its short format, I would recommend this to anyone who wishes to make it a gift--and a hint!--to a loved one.
short but good
I am a RN and I work in a cardiac unit in a major hospital this is a real a interpretation of what having a heart attack can do to a person!
A Must Read!
This is a quick read, but worth it. Thank you Mark for sharing your story. It brought tears to my eyes at the end. We are all truly blessed with all the wonderful people we have around us.
very short informative book
Like I said its more of an informative book than a novel or a story. Reminded me of a facebook status :)
