Jesus eliminated the need for a temple made of stone to ever exist again. God's hearts desire has always been to be one with us. What Jesus did when He died on the cross was not only to rebuild the temple of His body, but He purified us and made us a habitation righteous and worthy of the most high God.

What does it mean for us that we are the temple of God? Being the temple of God shouldn't add to our grief, guilt, and shame. It should inspire and encourage us to be all in for Jesus, because if Jesus, the High Priest and King, dwells within us by His Holy Spirit then the kingdom of God, God's will being done on earth as it is in heaven, should be happening all around us. Wherever Jesus is kingdom happens. If Jesus is in us, then kingdom should happen where we are too.
