I’m great at my job and my boss Mr. Hardy loves me. When I come out to him, he starts to treat me coldly. He makes my job miserable even though I’m doing the best in the department. When I try to get vacation time for a trip with my boyfriend Bradley, Mr. Hardy rejects my request just to spite me (though I trick him into signing it even if he rejected the dates). Bradley goes on the trip and has a great time, while I’m miserable at work. When the end-of-quarter rolls around, I put in my already-signed leave request and force Mr. Hardy to scramble to make up for my lost work. The office is thrown in disarray, Mr. Hardy gets fired, and I’m promoted in his place.
