Every time I see Trump supporters (#reTRUMPlicans) use the #NotMyPresident hashtag, I paste in the exact same reply, the one below. It's 15% sympathy and 85% reminding them that we had a lot more to fear from Trump (@realDonaldTrump) than they do from Biden (@JoeBiden), just to see what they say.
"I know how you feel. 4 years ago, when a guy who got caught denying housing to blacks 4x, called for the execution of 5 innocents, 4 that "hate is what we need," and who was against us gays being able to marry got elected, I had a hard time coping too."
The reactions I get range from desperate to hateful to being desperately in denial. All of this further reinforces my belief that anyone who continues to be a supporter of Donald Trump is either a bigot or is greedy enough to be completely comfortable with all of the atrocities he has committed as president just because Trump has reduced their taxes
