Working with corrupt governments... Aggressively marketing addictive painkillers... Advising detention centres on how to detain immigrants...These are just a few of the many high-profile scandals that have rocked the management consultant industry over recent years.

So you can imagine my hesitancy when I signed up for a 4-week internship with a little-known consulting firm called AxiaOrigin. Would this signify me joining "the dark side"?
