Every now and then I feel the need to talk about my issues with tipping, mostly because I never feel that I made my points very clear. Basically, I’m a good tipper, or at least I think I am, but I hate tipping for things I’m already paying for. If I go get a haircut, don’t ask me for $15 and expect a tip, if you want $18, $20, then just ask me for $18 or $20, let’s avoid the awkwardness of me having to judge whether my service was good enough or not, it should just be good because I paid for it and you should be doing your best anyway.
