Thank god is Friday and weekend is just round the corner !

Remember my last episode I was asking, what is your value? What you value the most ? What is your to be goal? What your purpose in life is?

I'm sure you're curious about what I mean by 'value.' Am I asking about how much you cost? Well, it's not that kind of value. Instead, I'm referring to something deeper: what you hold most dear in your life. This type of value can be applied in any setting, including the workplace.

For example, in the police force, what do police value the most? Their values are as follows: they are willing to risk their lives, if necessary, in order to safeguard our society. They also have the moral courage to seek and speak the truth, and to set wrongs right. In order to maintain this set of values, they strive to achieve certain goals, such as increasing patrol efforts, educating citizens, and leveraging modern technology, which includes user-friendly apps that allow for easy updates. So having said that, having a set of values is important as it guide us to set up certain goals, and these certain goals is also known as to be goals.

Back to the example, the police force to be goals :

- increasing patrol effects

- Educating citizens

- Leveraging modern technology- user friendly apps for easy updates

in order to achieved the to be goals, they need to write down the Do goals :

For example : their Do goals

- increasing patrol effects —- there is a need to expand recruitment and training efforts for police officers, as well as to optimize duty rosters.

- Educating citizens — To promote citizen education, they need to conduct surveys on areas where there is a lack of knowledge is essential. Establishing a dedicated team to brainstorm effective methods for disseminating information to the citizens will further enhance the educational outreach efforts.

- Leveraging modern technology- user friendly apps for easy updates -. Collaborating with government bodies to create and integrate surveys into the app is essential for gathering valuable feedback.

With clear 'to be' goals and 'to do' goals in place, the police force can effectively guide their officers towards their objectives. This enhanced clarity enables officers to perform their duties proficiently, contributing to the safety and security of our neighborhood. The purpose of having police force is to provide safety and security of our neighborhood.

I hope the examples provided above have given you a clear understanding of what value is, what your goals should be, and what actions you need to take to achieve those goals. Ultimately, I believe this will help you discover your purpose in life.

And As for me right now, I'm feeling nostalgic as I sit here at my desk, reminiscing about my childhood. Once upon a time, I had a clear purpose in life - do not grow up to be like my mom, who was a bit of a helicopter mom.

And As we grow older, our goals and aspirations often change.

Wanting to be a billionaire and seeking freedom are very common desires, especially when we are stepping into the working society. Especially at that time, i felt lost and uncertain about where I am heading. Until one day, I reached to my lowest point, burdened by the weight of owing credit card companies thousands of dollars. To make matters worse, I also lost my job, causing me to retreat to the comfort of my own room, seeking comfort under my cozy blanket, hoping that all of this would soon pass.

At this crucial moment, a turning point in my life, I found myself pondering the question of my life's purpose. I realized that I may not become a billionaire or achieve the ultimate freedom I yearn for, but it made me wonder, what do I truly desire?

So, I embarked on a journey of self-reflection and created a mind map. Through this process, I discovered that all I truly need is a comfortable life with a fulfilling job, a cozy place to call home, and an emphasis on living a minimalistic lifestyle.

And yes I did , I made it happen! I decided to take a leap and moved out to a new place. With just one 24" luggage filled with my favorite clothes and two pairs of shoes, I embarked on this exciting journey. Not only that, I also got a job with flexible working hours, allowing me to have more freedom in managing my time.

And guess what? I even got my very first dog, Jack, also known as Junior. Jack has become my true love and has shown me a whole new side of myself. He awakened my intuition, which I had neglected for so long. Through him, I have found a deep connection with nature and Mother Earth. Jack has opened my eyes to the abundance that surrounds us in every way imaginable. He reminds me, life is a journey, and sometimes we need some time and exploration to discover our true passions and purpose.

And again I re purpose my purpose, I realized that my deep connection with nature was unwavering. I firmly believe that nature possesses incredible healing powers. In pursuit of this passion, I began enrolling in courses on utilizing crystals, essential oils, and the art of massage therapy. This journey led me to discover my true calling. I am determined to further expand my knowledge and expertise in this field, driven by an unquenchable thirst for learning.

I embarked on this incredible journey back in 2012, and I'm still going strong in the same direction. Along the way, I've had moments where I had to reassess my purpose and make some adjustments while moving forward. It's similar to navigating a road map; you can't always stay on the highway. Sometimes, you need to take the scenic route, the longer path, to reach your desired destination. It's not just about zooming ahead in a fast car; it's about the journey itself and the valuable experiences you gather along the way. These experiences serve as your guide, shaping and empowering you to become the best version of yourself.

I am nearly half a century old, and still making adjustments, how about you? What is your purpose in life? What is your to be Goal? What do you value the most in your life?

Hi everyone, moon girl is here! Welcome to my channel Journey to be Me.

I like to share one particular hike I did recently in Jeju, can you guess what it is ?

Yes, that is climbing the Hallasan mountain in Jeju.

I am sure you guys can understand the excitement and challenges that come with hiking such a beautiful peak.

Yeongsil-ro trail is known to be one of the more accessible trails, with an estimated climbing time of 3-4 hours for both ascending and descending. As an experienced hiker, i felt confident about it, but the trail proved to be more challenging than expected. Climbing up stairs and tackling steep inclines can definitely be a workout, but it's all part of the challenge and excitement. The feeling of reaching the second peak have been incredible, despite my trembling body and fear of heights. And how amazing it to hear a voice saying, "Welcome home!" It's those unexpected moments that make the journey even more memorable. Not to mention, the sight of a beautiful, welcoming blue sky can be so uplifting and awe-inspiring. Nature truly has a way of taking our breath away, doesn't it?

It's amazing how this certain moments can make us feel so free from pain and stress. Finding that inner peace within ourselves is truly special.

I definitely want to go back to Hallasan mountain and conquer to the top.

I'm really glad that i took the trip up to Hallasan and it has helped me to gain some perspective. I come to terms that sometimes things get tough and challenging and it's completely normal to feel overwhelmed at times. It’s okay not to be ok. It's important to remember that everyone goes through ups and downs, and it's okay to have moments where you want to give up or express frustration. However, Taking a step back and appreciating the beauty around me is a wonderful way to find solace and regain my sense of calm. It can provide a much-needed break from the stress and turmoil that life can sometimes bring. Remembering to take time for yourself and prioritize self-care is crucial for maintaining your well-being.

So note to myself,

For future hikes, i could consider including stair climbing exercises in my training routine to better prepare my muscles and stamina. This can help me tackle similar challenges more comfortably. Additionally, researching the particular trail and reading first-hand accounts from fellow hikers can give me a better idea of what to expect.

Remember, every hike is a learning experience, and even if it presents unexpected challenges, it's all part of the journey. Keep exploring and enjoying the beauty of nature.

Starting a podcast is a fantastic way to share my experiences and insights with you guys. I love hiking and I am pursuing of becoming an integrative holistic therapist, so why not combine those interests into my podcast?

One idea I have is to create episodes where i share stories from my hiking adventures and tie them into lessons or principles of holistic therapy. I could discuss how nature and physical activity can impact mental and emotional well-being, or explore the connections between mind, body, and spirit during my hikes. I hope in near future I get to invite guests who have similar interests or experiences to join me for a conversation.

To add an extra touch of creativity, i might record parts of my podcast while actually on a hike, capturing the sounds and ambiance of nature. This could create a unique and immersive experience for my listeners.
