Thank god is Friday and weekend is just round the corner !
Remember my last episode I was asking, what is your value? What you value the most ? What is your to be goal? What your purpose in life is?
I'm sure you're curious about what I mean by 'value.' Am I asking about how much you cost? Well, it's not that kind of value. Instead, I'm referring to something deeper: what you hold most dear in your life. This type of value can be applied in any setting, including the workplace.
For example, in the police force, what do police value the most? Their values are as follows: they are willing to risk their lives, if necessary, in order to safeguard our society. They also have the moral courage to seek and speak the truth, and to set wrongs right. In order to maintain this set of values, they strive to achieve certain goals, such as increasing patrol efforts, educating citizens, and leveraging modern technology, which includes user-friendly apps that allow for easy updates. So having said that, having a set of values is important as it guide us to set up certain goals, and these certain goals is also known as to be goals.
Back to the example, the police force to be goals :
- increasing patrol effects
- Educating citizens
- Leveraging modern technology- user friendly apps for easy updates
in order to achieved the to be goals, they need to write down the Do goals :
For example : their Do goals
- increasing patrol effects —- there is a need to expand recruitment and training efforts for police officers, as well as to optimize duty rosters.
- Educating citizens — To promote citizen education, they need to conduct surveys on areas where there is a lack of knowledge is essential. Establishing a dedicated team to brainstorm effective methods for disseminating information to the citizens will further enhance the educational outreach efforts.
- Leveraging modern technology- user friendly apps for easy updates -. Collaborating with government bodies to create and integrate surveys into the app is essential for gathering valuable feedback.
With clear 'to be' goals and 'to do' goals in place, the police force can effectively guide their officers towards their objectives. This enhanced clarity enables officers to perform their duties proficiently, contributing to the safety and security of our neighborhood. The purpose of having police force is to provide safety and security of our neighborhood.
