The last few Halloweens I didn't have kids I was kinda not into the not trick or treating thing. And while I did somewhat go to parties they weren't the kind I thought I wanted to be at.... but I took the moments and made the best of them and they were still fun. On paper and at a basic level they seem boring and sad, but the little things made them not.
