My Life: Intro
This is a brief introduction to let you listeners know about myself, my disability, and my reasons for wanting to put my story out there.
I'm 30 years old with spastic quadriplegic cerebral palsy, because of this I was born 11 weeks premature. Over the years I've had my ups and downs but with the help of my amazing family and friends, I've been able to overcome them all. I come from a small town in the Great North West where hard work is all my family and I have. I have a high school education where I had a 3.5 GPA even with my developmental challenge. I love fast cars, art, rodeos, cold beer and good looking women.
A common misconception when people first meet or spend time with me is that my developmental challenge affects my mental state but in my case that's not true. My developmental challenge affects me in a purely physical manner so I'm in a wheelchair but that does not stop me from doing anything that I set my mind on. For example, I own my own business in the art field that I started in high school called Mike Marble Designs. I am also very outgoing and love to live life to the fullest and making an impact on people along the way because it's all part of " Mike Marble: My Life, You're Welcome to It"
