A wonderful alternative (or compliment) to Elf on a Shelf!

My Little Messenger is a wonderful alternative to the beloved "Elf on a Shelf" storybook. It focuses on the true meaning of Christmas and the role of angels in delivering messages from God to children all over the world. The story is sweet and my children have enjoyed reading it not just at Christmas time but throughout the year. We also enjoy Elf on a Shelf during the holidays at our house, but My Little Messenger helps to ensure the kids are not so focused on gifts but on the celebration of God's love for us.

This author supports censorship of other authors

This author is currently engaged in an effort to get Fairfax County Virginia to stop requiring the book Beloved by Nobel Prize winner Toni Morrison for Advanced Placement English classes. It gave her son nightmares. I could easily have nightmares reading about a Christmas angel coming off the tree and going into a little girl's life.

As an author, I don't support censorship. I'm sorry this one does.
