This Sunday is Mother’s Day. We will look at some timeless valuable lessons taught by some moms in the Bible. The following are words honoring motherhood, spoken by President Theodore Roosevelt: “When all is said, it is the mother and the mother only, who is a better citizen than the soldier who fights for his country. The successful mother, the mother who does her part in rearing and training aright the boys and girls, who are to be the men and women of the next generation, is of greater use to the community, and occupies, if she would only realize it, a more honorable as well as more important position as anyone. The mother is the one supreme asset of the national life. She is more important, by far, than the successful statesman, or businessman, or artist, or scientist.”

Moms, Dads, and Grandparents --- what you teach your children really, really, really matters! How you live your life is an example your children and grandchildren will see and perhaps emulate. What you value in life will have an influence on what your children value. Make it count for Godliness and righteousness. Stay with the Bible lessons, they have worked for generations and will remain true for eternity.
