I grew up in a small town in the middle of nowhere. There wasn’t so much as a Target, let alone anything interesting for a teenager like myself to spend their days. So when my dad told me we would be going on a trip to a campsite, I jumped on board immediately. It would only be myself and my dad – my mom had passed away 5 years ago.
