Sadly, if the money is not right neither will the relationship. While that does not apply to all relationships/marriages it does to apply to a great deal. To be honest thought with great communication and a solid budget or gameplay even financial problems won't break up a couple. Both people involved have to be committed to making the money part of the relationship work.
