Once upon a time, I went to my YouTube Partner Manager to ask for some data on a specific type of YouTube creator that I wanted to make a product for. My goal was to make this product to help them get more attention and thus more money for their work.
My YouTube partner manager wouldn't (in his words 'couldn't') give me the data.
Thankfully, Facebook Audience Insights allowed me to pull up the information in less than 2 minutes.
In those 2 minutes, I was able to assess that the market I wanted to reach, was too small to sustain our business model. So we knew we could start with that smaller market, but that we'd eventually need to expand.
