When you've lost a child, Mother's Day can be heart-wrenching.  It is supposed to be a day of celebration and excitement, but for a bereaved parent, it can act like a catapult of emotion, drawing attention to all that is lost.

In the past, I've tried to fill this day with honour towards my own Mother and Daughter, so they feel special... and I try to minimize the need I have in my heart for my own loss.  It can be quite difficult, especially for those who do not have a good support system.  

Sometimes the universe hears our needs and the waves of love break through the barriers of different worlds.
