Joe is back from season one. Our fearless leader, Etik, dives into a little bit of Joe's background; they talk about everything from kindergarten crushes to women's body hair. Sexual identity is a piece of the conversation and they discuss how sexual orientation impacted their young adulthoods, perceptions of gender roles and how we all develop these thoughts and perceptions of what should be. Keep in mind, this show is for grown folks! So the talk gets real. But it's all for the sake of education and providing insight into other communities which we might otherwise remain ignorant of or ignore. It's important to hear others' experiences and hear something different from your own; you just may understand someone a little bit better.

Etik and Joe agree on this: the self is a shifting thing. Self should be learning, ever-evolving, ever-growing. And just because your self doesn't align with someone else's self, this doesn't negate another's experience.
