On Sunday 13 December 2025, Perth experienced an intense thunderstorm. The weather forecast promised dry lightening, gusty winds and heavy rain. I'd been following the arrival of the storm on my phone's weather app and I was ready for its arrival. Audio recorder and two microphones at the ready. I waited. On this very hot Saturday, the storm arrived at about 3pm.
