I wasn't your stereotypical moody teenager. I loved my family, and I loved spending time with them. I had no siblings, so, growing up, it was my parents that played with me and made sure I had the best life. I learned how to cook the best burritos because of my dad. My mom taught me how to shoot hoops, which landed me a spot on the school basketball team. Every Sunday we'd have a game night, and I always looked forward to it. My other friends thought I was weird because I liked hanging out with my parents. But I didn't understand why they thought that. To me, my parents were my best friends.
