I have shared this part of my life on my Instagram and I am very open about it with others but it's time I brought it to the light on my podcast as well. I always want to be my authentic and true self and to know me- ya gotta really KNOW all of me... even the ugly parts. My eating disorder took up such a huge part of my life and it was in the deep and darkest times where I fully surrendered everything to God. I truly knew and believed at the end he would use my ED for good. I am so happy I am where I am today and I thank God, my family, my friends, and the resources to help me heal. I know that healing and recovering is an ongoing process and I am still on that journey today. I am so thankful I am on the other side and now I just have such a passion to help anyone who might be struggling with the same things I did. If you do struggle with and eating disorder- #1 know you're not alone but please put it into the light and get the help you need. If you know someone who might have an eating disorder, please love them well & let them know that you are a safe place for them & an ear to listen. I am sending so much love to you all this week!
