A week ago, I had a complete computer meltdown, and I thought that I was going to have to resort to my emergency photo backup system to get all of my files back. Luckily, I was able to fix the problem and get everything back without too much trouble (just five hours wasted from a perfectly good work day), but it made me think – what if my computer really had lost everything, and what if I hadn’t had emergency systems in place?

That experience inspired today’s topic – my photography backup workflow. Today I’m talking about all of the systems I have in place to back up my photography work so I never have to worry about losing client photos or my own personal work.
