David Merritt works as a BG designer in animation, teaches digital painting, and also creates excellent plein-air paintings. He has taken lots of art classes and he offers great tips on how to take advantage of the higher art education the right way. He believes that artists can’t outdo nature, and that plein-air painting strengths the understanding of light and color tremendously for any painter.
