One of 5 regrets of the dying is that they didn't say what they actually thought and instead ended up harboring bitterness and resentment. They thought they would bring about peace by remaining silent and instead it created the opposite of peace inside of them.

Expressing yourself isn't about saying whatever you want, whenever you want. It instead always has a bent towards reconciliation. It's about reconciliation with God and reconciliation with each other.
