Psalm 57 was written when David was in danger. Honestly, there are times I feel as bold as a lion in my walk as a believer (much like when I went outside into the dangerous storm and prayed), but other times I find myself confused in dangerous situations, and I simply run to God for mercy and protection, praying for the danger to pass over me. In either response, God is there, providing me with refuge and strength.
