After twenty-two years, Yuriana had the opportunity to return home to her familia and casita back in Michoacan, Mexico. She speaks about this experience from the very beginning from when she left Mexico for the first time to preparing for her return back. We talk about the various phases of emotions, thoughts, and conclusions she made. Reconnecting with the land brought her so much healing and peace. Reuniting with her family left her grieving for the family who could not be there. She speaks of her growth and return as a metamorphosis that altered her being.
