Luke 24:1-12

Jesus is alive! For 23 chapters, Dr. Luke has taken us by the hand and walked us through the birth, life, death, and burial of Jesus Christ. Friday closed with the aroma of death lingering in the air—a moment which felt like death had the last word. On Friday death was dealt, but on Sunday the tomb was robbed as the jaws of death were broken by the Way, the Truth, and the Life. And now as Dr. Luke takes us into the last chapter of his gospel, he wants us to see that you and I can have certainty that Jesus HAS risen just as He said. Confidence is what Luke wants you and I to have. Confidence that the empty grave and the word of Jesus proves my Savior lives.
