I couldn't believe that Mason could say such mean things to me. What happened to my best friend? I walked away with my head low, ignoring the laughter and whispers from everyone in my class.

Hi, my name is Amy. Ten years ago, my best friend Mason moved away with his family. Now he's back but he's not the Mason I used to know.

My friend Chloe was practically vibrating in her seat.

"OH please, he will be mine by the end of third period." 

Sam, my other friend, rolled her eyes.

"Who are you guys talking about?"

They both looked at me like I'd grown two heads.

"Have you been living in a cave? Sometimes I wonder how you'd survive without us."

"There's a new guy in school. We saw him at the principal's office. Please please let him be in our class." Chloe put her hands together and looked up to the ceiling.
