August was the month I was going to give myself permission to get a divorce.

Those words feel crazy to say. Not only here on the internet, but as I say them after nearly 10 months of living my truest, purest life. Instead of August being the month I took my life back, it’s the month I’m deciding to share my heart and my story with people I thought I’d keep it from forever.

As small business owners we’re constantly talking about how our personal lives are so intertwined with our businesses- but we never talk about how. Why. What that looks like. And that’s the entire foundation of the That’s My Personal Business Podcast- to shine a lil light on all things personal, all things business, and everything in between. With lots of my stories, but even more from fellow creatives so you (and I) can learn from so many stories and so many hearts.

Most of us (can I say all?) have personal stories and experiences that have influenced or changed our business- my marriage and divorce are mine, and today I’m sharing my story with you. Love you all v v much.
