The Freelance Writing Roadmap podcast focuses on freelance life, tips for pitching editors, and the roadmap for moving from zero bylines to a full-time freelance writer. In this episode, I talk about the three conferences I attended in April and May — the Kajabi Impact Summit, the Association of Health Care Journalists in Baltimore and the American Society of Journalists and Authors in New York City, which I also co-chaired. All three had three similar narrative threads running through them, so here's what I found and how you can apply them to your career.
