What's your favorite video editing tool? That's one of the questions I've been getting a lot.
It depends on the level of complexity you want on your videos.
🔸Level 1 - iMovie If you're just starting out, keep it simple. It's the content that matters. Not snazzy graphics. iMovie is quick, simple and free.
🔸Level 2 - Videoshop This is an app for the phone and it's great for editing on the go. You can do vertical videos, overlays and fancy transitions. It has more features than iMovie. $3.99/month subscription.
🔸Level 3 - Camtasia I use this software when I do a lot of corporate training. It's my favorite editing software. It's intuitive and user-friendly. You can add screen recordings, voiceovers, highlights, zoom-ins and more. $250 for the software + access to extensive video and audio asset library.
🔸Level 4 - Adobe Premiere Pro This is for experts. I don't use this tool but both my video editors do and it's the reason you see all those great fly-ins, motion graphics, video clips and fun graphics on these weekly videos. It's quite complex so it's more suitable for extensive editing.
