“You’re so funny”, I teased my older twin, Hendrel, with a pat on her back.
“Yeah. I know”.
“But I’m funnier, lol”. Hendrel’s smile suddenly turned upside down. “You think you’re funny? What exactly is funny about you? Eh? Tell me! Tell me how you’re funnier!”
“Chill sis, I was just kidding. It’s a simple joke, you don’t have to take it so seriously".
“Oh wow, now you’re saying that I overreact all the time, RIGHT?”
“When did I say that? What is wrong with you?!”
Hendrel’s smiling eyes turned red as she stared at me with contempt, she suddenly picked up some plates at the dining table and flung them straight at my face. Before I could realize what was happening, my parents had jumped into the scene, my dad threw me away from the flying plates just in time but he couldn’t leave just as fast.
He dodged about two of the plates but the last few came straight for his face and knocked him out. Thankfully, these last couple of plates were plastic unlike the first glass ones that smashed on the living room walls, so no serious damage occurred.
“Oh my God. Dad. Are you okay?”
