The only thing that matters is whether you are living a purposeful life or not. A life that is not full of purpose will be incomplete. People have the sense that the main criterion of happiness is earning money. Well, earning money is important but earning happiness is a better criterion. If you do not earn anything and are happy then you will not have the sense of belongingness that which is required to make one live. If you are not connected with any community or group, then your sense of belongingness will be missing and this will lead to living a purposeless life.
