Mykel Salazar is a Director, Writer,  and Producer. She is the owner of Unapologetic Films. She is a member of the Directors Guild of America. She has worked on films that have gone on to be accepted into numerous film festivals including the Sundance Film Festival, the Santa Fe International Film Festival, the Tribeca Film Festival, and the Berlin International Film Festival to name a few. She is the recipient of the 2020 Rising Star award from the New Mexico Film and TV Hall of Fame.
