Episode 30 - Myles Markham is helping reform the Church with The Reformation Project, a Christian organization that works to promote inclusion of LGBTQ people by reforming church teaching on sexual orientation and gender identity. Myles joined TRP in 2015 and resides in Atlanta, Georgia where they are pursuing an MDiv at Columbia Theological Seminary and working to grow the grassroots network of other LGBTQ Christians and allies who hope to reimagine the church as a safer and more inclusive place for all people. We talk about Myle's recent name change, breaking down binaries, their time at the Equality House (the rainbow house across from the Westboro Baptist Church), and the future of LGBTQ inclusion in the Christian Church.
