MYPV E12 - Handling Problems With Alyssa Swenson
Alyssa Swenson is a graduate of the University of MN with a BS in Human Relationships and Wellness. Alyssa started managing her first rental property in 2006 while working full time and going to school. In 2014 she started taking on more responsibility in residential property management, partnering with her parents in a family business.
In June of 2018, with the support of her incredible husband, she left my full-time desk job to pursue an entrepreneurial career and have since partnered with Grizzly Properties, a local Twin Cities residential property management company based out of Golden Valley. Grizzly Properties manages residential rental properties throughout the twin cities with a large number of them concentrated in the UMN area. Grizzly Properties manages everything from the leasing and showing, rent collection, tenant management, and maintenance/repair needs.
In her free time, Alyssa enjoys traveling with her husband and their two dogs, spending time at the lake, or working on projects around the house. What Alyssa loves most about property management is the continuous learning, interpersonal engagement, and the challenge of each day being different.
