I thought I had cancelled the Mystery Poke Slab subscription, but I must have been a little late. There is a net loss on this subscription. You pay $65 (marked down from $75). The first box I received had a $30 value card and this one was a $40 value card. If the value was at least at a break even price, I might continue. At this point I would just be gambling each month that I would get one of the lucky gold boxes.

Even if you're a hard core Pokemon collector, you would do much better buying the graded card you want online. With this subscription service you are hoping it is a good value and more importantly, that it is a Pokemon you want. My suggestion is to steer clear of this service.
