In this episode we learn about the Am Fear Liath Mòr or in english, The Big Grey Man of Ben MacDhui. An entity from Scottish folklore said to haunt the area of Ben MacDhui, which has dated back at least a 100+ years.

In hindsight, for some reason I was insanely backwards on some of the dates. Munro was a member of the SMC in 1889 and published his Munro Tables in 1891. That makes more sense chronologically, I was even confused myself while reading and writing the script about that part which is why I mention it in the episode. I was wrong, but the dates are correct.
