Myths, Legends & Echoes episodes

  • Episode 01.05 - A Christian Western Romance about the Harsh Realities of the California Gold Rush

The reports of Mike Locksley's firing are greatly exaggerated on this week's ep! Eugene, Petey, and the Boz are back together to ride an emotional rollercoaster with Matt. From the highest of highs coming off Iowa's last second victory, to the lowest of lows watching the Padres round the bases again and again against his Cubs, and finally back to maybe even a higher high than the Iowa win as he defeats Boz in this week's game "Can you find it on Peacock?"

Special Guest this week is former Arizona QB and author of the greatest play in Wildcats history Oretge Jenkins! OJ talks about his Leap at the Lake, UA football, and the state of college football.

Come listen to it all plus an argument about the AP Top 25, Boz ranking Miss State #1, and plenty more misstatements of facts and crazy opinions!

  • Episode 0.1.04 - Don't Do The Research In Front Of Me

Eugene, Petey and The Boz bring you the most informed, well researched college football podcast on the market.  This week they argue about the moon landing, most embarrassing sports moments, and test Boz on which teams are FBS or FCS. They also debate Sam Leavitt's draft prospects and compare him to that one QB, no, you know his name, he was at Penn State, or was it Clemson? Wasn't the Penn State kid pretty good?

The guys are joined by two guests this week.  First up is North Dakota attorney Patrick Rosenquist, who provides a FCS Report, discusses his pending litigation against the NCAA, and through gritted teeth admits Petey's pick of NDSU representing the G5 in the playoff might be a good one.

Speaking of Petey, his Hawkeyes have a tough test vs. Michigan in the Big House, so former Iowa kicker Daniel Murray who knocked the game winning FG to upset #3 Penn State in 2008 stops by to talk his famous kick and hopefully soothe Matt's jangled nerves.

    Hope you enjoy!

  • Episode 01.03 Cotton Balls for Your Ears

Eugene, Petey and the Boz are back for Week 3!  The guys get into whether Big 10 honk Petersen is ready to admit the Big 10 is not as good as advertised and UGA alum Boz reveals if he has watched any Dawg football yet this season.  Eugene continues to refuse to jinx Notre Dame by predicting they will lose this weekend to Michigan State. They also talk music festivals, the best games, they ever attended, and provide this week's picks.

This week's guests include former Texas QB Tyrone Swoopes who talks about his game winning touchdown vs Notre Dame in 2016, how excited he was to meet Holly Rowe, and Matthew McConaughey watching UT football on Thanksgiving.

Former Notre Dame defensive back Terrail Lambert also stops by to discuss his pick six and game sealing INT vs Michigan State 20 years ago.

    Hope you enjoy!

  • Episode 1.02 - Welcome to Myths, Legends, and Echoes! (Again)

How can you have a second episode without a first? Technical difficulties!

Eugene, Petey and the Boz are back (for the first time) to talk about the week in college football, including the Michigan/Western Michigan fiasco, if the Big 10 is falling off, if Iowa will continue to score 35 ppg, when will Boz feel the need to turn into a UGA game, and check in on whether Eugene still thinks Notre Dame is going 7-5.

The guys are joined by Gerry DiNardo, Jeff Woody, and Darnell Autry to discuss the Fifth Down game between Mizzou/Colorado in 1990, the CyHawk, and Northwestern's upset of Notre Dame in 1995.

Subscribe to stay up to date, see if Petey will go winless in his locks of the week again, and to reminisce about how much college football changes, it stays the same.
