We are going to encounter delays, challenges, obstacles and setbacks, but we have to be determined to pivot and retain our energy to pursue the fruitful relationship, career development plan, health plan, educational plan — whatever it is we are in pursuit of. We are winners, so we can’t ever lose our momentum to win!

Our lane is synonymous to our life and is intended to be ran within our own boundaries. When we veer outside our lane, we fall prey to violations and disqualifications. To retain our peace, joy, and understanding, let’s just stay in own lane and aim to win our race.

Have you ever been invited someplace but when you arrived, your insecurities and self-doubt caused you to question whether or not you belonged there? Well, the mere fact that you were invited was the indicator that you belonged.

Rushed decisions can leave us with overwhelming feelings of regret, or adverse consequences.  Slowing down can give us time to think and process all options. You’ll thank yourself later for the slow roll and wise choice. 

The negative vibes and projections of others, although out of our control, can feel very personal and may influence our behavior in a negative way. I’ve learned not to dwell on the emotions of other folks.  It ain’t personal, so keep soaring and continue living blessed!

When most people hear the word submission it stirs up a negative reaction. Submission, to some people, is a non-attractive flaw because it can be viewed as a sign of weakness. Truth be told, submission ain’t for the weak, it is for the wise. 

Sometimes we can take a look at something and discard it before totally considering its hidden value. They say, beauty is in the eye of the beholder — meaning, what one person finds beautiful, others may find ugly, and vice versa. Before we discard, let’s be sure we haven’t mistaken a treasure for trash. Be blessed!

During our life journey we will explore certain things, people, and places and discover this ain’t what we anticipated. If we settle for what ain’t it, we run the risk of birthing frustration, resentment, anger, depression, and doubt. Don’t settle, keep pursuing until you can honestly say, YES — this IS it, because you deserve to get what you desire. Be blessed!

During this life, we will experience seasons of pain that seem so horrific it is difficult to see anything better.   However, if we endure — if we remain steadfast — if we can just stay the course, we will get on the other side of pain and discover that very pain pushed us into purpose. Be encouraged because there is another side to the pain you may be currently experiencing and it is beautiful over there.  Be blessed!

Sometimes, taking a stand for what we believe to be right could cost us everything and give the appearance that we have lost. However, if we keep our peace, dignity, and honor, the cost will be pale in comparison to the level of self-esteem and self-value we retain.  Standing up for our well being may be costly, but we get to determine if it was worth it.  Be blessed!
