It's hoped that the N17 Knock to Collooney Atlantic Economic Corridor Project will future-proof the North West.
The project is currently advancing through Phase 3 which involves the design of the Preferred Option to a stage where the likes of land requirements can be established and to identify and mitigate project impacts.
Sligo County Council provided an update on the progress of the project today.
