Daniel Melly joined Na Rossa in the early noughties after moving to live in Dooey. He had previously lined out for Four Masters underage. In 2005 he made his Na Rossa senior debut aged just 15. A year later he was part of the squad which won the Div 3 title. Daniel was also named club junior player of the year in 2006. Four years later he was named senior player of the year. Daniel has played under numerous managers, we talk about this and much more including looking at Na Rossa's positive start to div 4 this season, where Daniel is still very much involved at the heart of our defence. He also names his 1 to 15 of best opposition faced in Donegal GAA.
This episode and the forthcoming episodes of this Na Rossa podcast is aimed at promoting our club's current fundraiser, and the hope is to get enough funds on board to build new dressing rooms at the club's new pitch in Madavagh, Lettermacaward.
