In an episode in late 2019 I discussed a lawsuit filed by Genius against Toronto based LyricFind, and  Google. Genius states that Google through their third party affiliate LyricFind was copying lyrics from Genius.com. 

I never thought the suit made sense, and it would seem a judge agreed with me. In this episode I break down where I think the value lies in Genius.com, and why Genius didn't have much ground to stand on.
