THE MEANING OF MARRIAGE - We have learned marriage is designed to be held together by covenant; not promise, joy, or contract. An unbreakable covenant seems risky business to some, a life sentence. However, for who take the covenant of marriage seriously, for those who give themselves to their marriage just as Christ gave Himself for His bride, the church, the cement of covenant is much more joy producing than the cotton candy of romance.
