In this episode we look at pornography (not literally).
What makes some people think that all nudity is pornographic?
How can people struggling with addictions to pornography be helped?
In this episode I reflect on a poem by David L. Hatton titled "Christians & nakedness". It exposes how nudity used to be normal and natural and encourages us to see it like that again.
Nudity should not be seen as a sexual thing. Like looking in a distorted mirror people see nudity and turn it into something sexual. Culture, society and media all contribute to sexualizing nudity. Yet the Bible tells us to renew our minds and not think like the world. When we do that we should see nudity as normal and natural.
Does this mean we should all walk around nude everywhere. find out in this episode.
WHY COVER-UP A SIGN SO NO-ONE CAN SEE IT?
In the Old Testament God chose the sign of circumcision to identify males that were dedicated to Him. If men always covered up their penis's than the sign would never been seen.
In this episode we explore the Old Testament biblical sign of circumcision.
And this episode is NOT just for men.
Some people probably cannot image that Jesus was ever nude in public.
In this episode we look a scriptural times when Jesus was nude in a public or social setting.
Of course God did not lust, but he did admire the naked human body at creation. So what is the difference between admiration and lust?
In this episode we look at what the biblical word translated lust actually means and surprisingly find that Jesus used that word describing his own actions.
What is modesty?
Could you be naked and still be modest?
These questions and more will be answered in this episode of naked truth, where we expose nudity for what it is, normal and natural.
In this episode we hear more of my personal story about living as a secret closet nudist while serving in the church as an ordained pastor.
In this episode we continue to explore the question, "why do we need to wear clothes?".
We look at the creation account in the book of Genesis and discover why it was that God made clothes for people.
