Thank you Domenic Certa for your generous nomination for #PersonBehindThePassion! To me, you are the kindest soul around because your genuine efforts to highlight the passionate people across the globe are highly commendable. This is true as without passion and a definite purpose our life becomes meaningless. Hence all of us must pursue our passions and I appreciate this great honor.
I consider myself to be the kind of person who is dynamic yet sensitive, head-strong yet empathetic, compassionate yet intolerant towards atrocities inflicted upon women and children.
The passion I am currently pursuing in my life is imparting pro bono legal awareness to children, educators, and their parents on the prevention of child sexual abuse. I also counsel and help survivors of sexual abuse, domestic violence, sexual harassment at the workplace, and marital discord.
The impact I intend to make in the world is to influence people to be vigilant, pro-active, and to stand up for their rights to make this world a better place to live in.
The people that have inspired me to pursue this passion are my late father, my husband, and my adorable son. All three of them have immense faith in me that I'm sent in this world with a definite purpose and have the capabilities to spread my wings, fly high and carve a niche for myself and the society at large. ~ Namrata Mishra
