Retired Judge Janet Kintner, who was appointed by Gov. Jerry Brown in 1976 as only the third female judge in San Diego's history, has recently authored a memoir. Titled A Judge’s Tale: A Trailblazer Fights for Her Place on the Bench, the book recounts her experiences.
