Anna Lowenhaupt Tsing is an American Anthropologist. Her book, The Mushroom at the End of the World, is an original study that explores human relations with non-human species, specifically the Matsusaka mushroom. Also, Heather Altfeld's essay, "Obituary for Dead Languages", was chosen to be included in, The Best American Essays 2019. Her first book, The Disappearing Theatre, won the 2015 Poets at Work Prize.
