We explore Lafayette, the oldest live entertainment bar in the city. We also visited Steve’s Music Store and the Bytown Theatre. Famous musicians from Ottawa include; Alanis Morissette, Dan Aykroyd, Paul Anka and Tom Green.
The Ottawa Valley area has a rich folk music culture scene. The French, Scottish and Irish all influenced the music in the area. Daze does a great report on “The Bender” music festival in the region.
