Napiera Groves-Boykin extensive training in theater, music, and dance paved the way for her successful career in television, film, and stage. Her beauty, dedication, and intelligence propelled her to win the title of Miss District of Columbia USA, where no surprise she won the Miss Congeniality Award. This is when Napiera and Brook Lee became friends and Brook became Miss USA.
